The best way to connect tow bar to an E9?

Does anyone have experience using a tow bar with an E9 (safely)? If so how to I mount it to the E9?

Wow, I haven't used a tow bar in years. Don't they have a rubber pad-type thing that you put against the front of the bumper and some straps or bolts to tighten it up? Unless you take the bumper off or have a later "big" bumper, I don't see how to connect in front very easily. I'm assuming this is your track car? How 'bout some kind of bar between the bumper supports that you can attach the tow bar to?
