It would be interesting to know if the famous blue CSL Alpina has survied. The car was tested by AMS in November 1972 and must be a late carb one or a very early injection one. Most likely it was a B2S with 250 hp model, which was introduced in September 1972. The war was the Alpina "testwagen" and development car and often it was driven by Burkard Bovensiepen himself.
The fully converted Alpina car had a trice tag of DM 45 250 in 1972 and was more or less DM 9000 more expensive compared to a standard CSL.
If the car still exist, it must be a very rare and collectible CSL.
