So I scored this sweet mag collection called BMW CS Register. It lists owners, repair proceedures, classified ads (Including CSLs all day long under $25k!), and articles.

What stuck out in every issue was one man. This magazine might as well been called 'Ask Don!'

Don, not many people on this earth have contributed so much to their passion for so long. Thank you for your selfless contribution to us in Coupeville.

@sfdon - @SkiFast is the guy with that thing that Martin might want to grab. That thing with the hole in it thanks to @Markos.

Anyone who has received a package from me knows that I have these also.

@sfdon is the man. Stopped by to pick up the front break disks he was giving away, he looked over my car, gave me a lot of info about my car, what it needs etc and generally had a great talk. He had in the past given me advice and pointed me to a good windshield guy. We're talking about some future work, very reasonably priced for what the work is.

An all around great guy,

- Steve

Let’s go with that Living stuff!

are you meeting us in Tasmania next year?

How about Living Treasure? Legend connotes expiration, past tensedness, fable, ( no not feeble, fable ).
Whatever works for you! To me Living Legend sounds pretty good :)

Looking ahead to a safer and healthier world...
2022 will be a big year In Tasmania. Lets plan ahead!

I could get there early for the partying then see you off in Launceston.

This touring Ford - is it a, shall we say, classic?

Launceston has good food but worse people than Hobart. Either way I'm in as pit crew :)
Lola wants to be the grid girl - not sure she knows what that actually means...

If you wish to call a brown Ford station wagon with an American flag painted on the roof “classic” - who am I to argue?

I Googled Ford touring and this picture was it. Soooo.......you painted yours brown and patriotised it?

Then again - how is a brown Ford wagon with Old Glory on the roof not a classic? Classic what though is the question.

Worse people than Hobart? Is that actually possible? And will Lola the grid girl ( from Hobart ) be at the party?
