I finally rolled my 72 csi into the shop after doing most of the mechn. work . I have the dubious problem of deciding weather to keep my vynal top or strip it and change the color . Currently the car is silver with blk vinly top .
 
No contest. The vynal goes! Toast. History. Delete. My humble? .02 cents worth.

If the interior is acceptable, I would paint it a favorite color, I have at least two, that would match the factory configuration.

I'm with oneils. The vinyl has to go.

You must be located in the UK - I don't think e9's got the vinyl treatment elsewhere. I'm not sure how vinyl is perceived over there, but here in the States vinyl tops are viewed as - hmm, it's hard to say this delicately - a fashion statement adopted by the less fortunate segment of society. And even they abandoned it 20 years ago.
