If there is one place I regret not being able to take my coupe with me on vacations it was this week in Maui driving The Road to Hana in Maui. That would have been fun.
Did not see any classics except for two nice early Porsches driving together, and a 70s barn find I made, ran when parked type of find.

Forget Monterey, let's organize a trip to Hana.

I was on Oahu several years ago and Charlie was kind enough to pick me up at the hotel after work and show me all around the island in his coupe. It was a lot of fun!

There are lots of interesting roads in HI. I've driven the road to Hana 3 times, and an even better one is the road on Kauai, going up alongside the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific'. The view when you get high up on the rim is great, then continue even further to the two overlooks of the Napali Coast. Those views are fabulous, as long as the clouds aren't covering your vista.

The driving and viewing don't get much better than this road and those views.

We were in Hana last week, stayed at the Hana Kai. Fun road, saw only one old Porsche on our way to Haleakala National Park.

The road to Hana is a great road but many years ago you would not have wanted a coupe on that road. It was so rough with pot holes that is was a challenge to just make it to Hana. Last couple times I took the back way out. Different scenery but still a little rough.

2 coupes on that side- Carl and Josh.
Makawao and Paia.
Erik with m5 has a private race track for track days on Kihei side.
He's up in Kula.
Nice inka 2002 with a hot rod engine on the other side kapalua.

Went shopping in Paia. I guess the logistics of keeping classics in Maui must be harder.
Getting supplies must be difficult if judged by the brassiere shortages in Hana for example.
