Hey boys, I believe you wont hurt me....:)
It can't be explained in any other way.
I'll survive. Let me know your opinions. :-D

I was still digesting the pictures, here is the feedback:

- The tires are worn
- The clutch pedal is floored
- Manual windows with wires sticking out, is the handle also a generator?
- not rusted through
- sitting since 1989
- I bet it won't start (it is missing the battery)

Did you buy this one also? I am starting to understand your ex-wife :).

oral surgery needed...

...has a bit of Bugs Bunny overbite with that kidney grille...
or as a friend of mine says; What a man does with his car in the privacy of his own garage shouldn't be my business...life is short, have some fun.

I like it. That shaved front end reminds me of a late 60's Fiat Dino.. just with a kidney grille (1st picture from the bottom).

German Vs. Italian design...

The German auto industry, always borrowing designs from the tables of Italian designers, what else is new...? I like the Ferrari Dino impression though... Several years ago before I lost my small shop space, had a chance to buy a almost abandon 67 2000cs chassis for $750.00, front clip was gone so I was actually thinking about a design of my own similar to the big kidney one, but flush smooth sheet metal front end, newer style lights, car was missing a lot of glass though, probably could have gotten the engine to run, but glass for a early car let alone later is impossible to find without buying new or parted car or donor. I wonder if Evan still has it or if someone else bought that Chamonix White car he had...???

Congrats to a very late 2.5 CS. Only 38 cars built after this one, which was built in September 1975. My advise it to renovate it to as close as possible to a 2.5 CS original. As there are so few 2.5 CS built (2.5 CS: 600 cars and 2.5 CSA 244 cars), they are already very rare.

My estimate is that only some 300-400 cars in total (out of 844) are still alive.

Cheers

Did a little photoshopping and added an E3 bumper:

I have a few bumpers in my container, E3, E12 and E30, I will test it next weekend, I kind of like it.......why not ?
