Coupers:

I have not seen any mention here of the upcoming "The Vintage" (formerly known as Vintage @ Vineyards) in Winston-Salem, NC. This is the 10th anniversary. Looks like about a half dozen E9's registered so far, including mine.

We are coming again this year.
Hoping to bring the Coupe and the M5 as well.
Phyllis and I will take turns driving each. She loves the coupe but I will drive first hour or more to keep an eye and ear on everything.
Still have things to do to the Coupe and not much time so we'll see how it goes.
Later,
Gary

Registration list shows about a dozen coupes. Most I've seen on the east coast in awhile. Weather looks perfect. Pics forthcoming.

Thanks Don,
I didn't check that list.

I registered my Coupe and paid for it although I see it didn't make the registered list. The M5 did.

See you there.

Vintage Winston-Salem

Yup, I'm registered. Plan to stop in Roanoke Thursday and arrive
Friday morning.
Expect and hope to see some of the Easy Coast usual suspects
....and hopefully some coupe owners I've yet to meet...

Perfect E9 weather for it...no rain, sleet, or even gloom of night...I will be at the Hawthorne Fri night and at the Vineyard Sat, and look forward to seeing the coopsters...I will be in the 76 Nevada 02 this year. All be safe.

Vintage 2013

Great photos Don!! Thanks for posting. It was great to see old friends and make new ones! I thought all the coupes were so nice and get better every year!!
We drove almost 900 miles and the car ran great!!!
Lonny

Shirk coupe

For those of you who may not know: Lonnie Shirk's coupe (ex Parker Spooner and Michael Izor owned) is such an icon that it was parked next to the closing banquet tent at Ofest last year. There was a terrible thunderstorm and part of the tent blew down, with one of the big support poles landing right across Lonnie's pristine hood.

I don't know the details of the repair, but it was undetectable to my untrained eye at The Vintage. Just lovely. Congrats, Lonnie!

Oh, and where did Lonnie (and Amy Lester) park at The Vintage? Right next to the big tent, of course.

Don

LouAnn didn't want to park there but the sky was very blue!!It was ironic!!
Mario Langston does great work!!!

Thanks for the pics Don.
Yes it was a beautiful sunny day and no flying tents were expected.

Here's a shot of Lonny's car under the tent that I took from our hotel window at Ofest 2012 in Columbus OH.
