Learning by experience, when letting someone else take care of the E9 renovation, there are some small details to check when the car is back in the garage. Of course, only if you want the "as when left the factory style".

- Plastic plugs for the inside of the door panels etc: should be white, but are often replaced by green or black ones

- C-pilar roundel/emblem: should be the "heavy ones" (non-alu) + enamel emblems

- Hood and boot emblems: should be with raised letters

- Hose clamps in the engine room: should be the old style with BMW logo

- Hoses from the brake oil cannister: should be the "blue hoses"

- Sticker for oil change (engine bay): should be the one with oil changes every 6000 km (often replaced by the one indicating every 7500 km)

- Windshield washer hoses: should be old style "yellowish"

- Spark plugs: Bosch W7DC (or the old version Bosch W175T30)

- Grey rubber floor mats with BMW logo

- Tool kit: Red screwdrivers (often replaced by green or grey ones)

Pls feel free to add to the list

Cheers
Henric
