This is messed up.. mail stopped to USA

I’m in Luxembourg today, Worms tomorrow and Stuttgart on Wednesday buying coupe parts.

Buying not shipping. I have parts scattered everywhere in Europe that can’t come to the shop until?

That drops demand across the board.
And prices rise….

And getting hurt with the Euro/Dollar at 117.

Hoping my last package made it out and isn’t sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

Oh whoops…..

Back in October after all this gets worked out.

i've got a pkg coming from W+N this week. will see if i get hit with tariffs or not. last time i didn't, so i figure this one will.

I have a package coming from Germany, mailing it tomorrow. My contact was aware of the Tariff fiasco and was already sending it as a gift valued and less than $100.

We shall if it works. We will all pay a hefty price for Trump's Tariff's and beyond.

Staying "on topic" here, I smell a recession hitting our classic car market and ..... And it won't be pretty.

I imagine folks are having issues not only with figuring out the dollar value, but also the sheer quantity of instances since the 'de minimus' exception has been removed.

in fact don't blame Trump on it , we pay here in Europe the same taxes on US parts already for years..... around 20...30 %
And i know it , buying for approx $20.000 US parts over the last years to restore my '67 BB Corvette C2 .....

Depends the package, parts name etc...but average it is 21% Belgian "BTW" tax and 10% import tax ..... i know , not fun.

all shipping agents want the import payment in advance, only Fedex delivers and send us a invoice afterwords ... at least over here .

Don is right, the glitch on deliveries is occurring as the De Minimis exemption was removed for commercial use. You can still do under 100 dollars but for personal, not commercial use.
Yes, Europe always had it in the other direction.

The only good news is that it seems like tariffs proceeds will be used to reduce the US national debt ...
The debt has been on my mind since my son created this primer 8 years ago:

Don, really horrible, so far i don't have a notice on my 450 euro order ... but i'm expecting it any day. i ended up buying a gas tank sender from them as it was 200 bucks cheaper than buying it here in the USA ... so even if i have a $75 tariff, its still a better price
