I saw this toolkit the other day... I was wondering if that is the original and correct shop towel in white with a blue BMW logo?

The repro shop towels are blue but this kit looks so original I was thinking maybe white was original?

Looks original

But I too have never seen the shop towel in that color.
Was it a euro car?
The pink spark plugs are definitely unobtanium!

Did the tool kit sell? Did you buy it!

It is rather odd, but I've never seen one of these blue or white polishing cloth supplied in the toolkit in any of the period factory E9 literature or magazine articles when the CS was new. Most likely, the cloths were included by dealers for the later 5/6/7 series cars. Some E24 guys lust after these cloths more so than the red screwdrivers.

I bought a real blue one from Muray, he said they actually never were included in e9"s either.
