These are Autoflug three point front belts that fit an e9. They are a slightly later style, asking $150, these belong to a friend. In very good condition.

Walter,

Do you have a mount in the roof for the shoulder belt? This wasn't introduced until 1972? Or are you talking about an e3 2800?

Chris if the belts are still available and fit a roof mount, I would like to purchase them as well.

Thanks Bob, I will give Walter a chance to reply. And I am leaving in the morning for the Targa California drive in the coupe, returning Sunday. I will be checking in though.

BTW, my car is a 71' and has the roof mounts. It was delivered in Belgium if that makes any difference.

According to the parts books (sound familiar?) the roof mounted belts were introduced for US only beginning with 2240143 and 2250071 and have the headliner covered shelf to store the shoulder belt. These US VINs were produced in Feb 1972.

Cool, good to know. Are they visible through the headliner or do you need to remove to find them?

Bob,

No reply from Walter so they are yours. I need to pick them up first and will contact you.

Chris

Ok great Chris. I'll drop by my storage facility tomorrow and look to see if my roof mounts appear original.

If Bob doesn't want them and no one else is in line I will have a look and see about removing my OEM guilotine shoulder belts for these.

Right in front of the grab handle but I think Bob's coupe was modified. Report back if you can find it.

will do! I have a tarp over my coupe right now. It's a few weeks away from the garage. It pains me to think about it sitting outside, but then I remind myself that this is the most dry that the car has been in at least a year.

Autoflug seatbelts

Hello Chris,
Steve Benirschke here. Are the Autoflug 3 point belts still available? I'm very interested if they are. I put some Nissan belts in that work, but would like the real thing. My email is: [email protected]
Let me know if you still hve them.
Thanks.
Steve
