I am about to fit a set of triple solex 45ddh to my coupe. Problem is, I don’t have the complete gas linkage. I cant seem to find any pictures that show this in a good way. If anyone could post a picture which show the linkage it would e greatly appreciated.

It’s a original Alpina B2 setup with 3 solex, the big “ALPINA” plenum and airbox.

Similar to this one:

Its the linkage I need help with. Your link helps.
I am missing som brackets and connections.
A picture without the Alpina-plenum would clarify what i am missing.

The fuel-lines are no problem (i hope).

Solex

Here's a link: http://www.biekerengineering.com/examples.html

Harry Bieker has been doing Porsche setups for well... a long time. Very well respected. Early Porsches used Solexs. There are a couple of Specialists closer to you in the UK.

If you could sent a photo of what you do have or describe what you're missing, it could help.

Triple SK 45mm setup

I have a set of 45mm SK carbs here, the linkage is pretty straight forward, it uses the factory control throttle rod between the carbs that run cylinders 1-2, and 3-4, there is a larger round rod that runs the length of the carbs that runs through the three manifolds. There are a total of 4 bridges, 4 rods, it's very tight between carbs that run cylinders 3-4, and 5-6 space wise so you need to angle the rods from the bridges to the carbs some. The factory rod from the transfer rod, and from the gas pedal appears not to be a issue as of yet. I have not installed them car yet, but I have a mock-up on a old E3 head. The original Alpina stuff may require a custom shop as suggested prior. The stuff I have here looks like someone fabricated the bridges, and used some real nice rod ends, with left hand thread right hand thread etc. Most of this stuff can be purchased from a good carb shop or racing supply. Otherwise your looking at a pretty fancy bill for some fancy fabrication with that Alpina setup.... ! If you need measurements I can give you specifics, rod length etc, but with that air cleaner your sporting it might interfere with your Air Cleaner... My bridges have three locations to adjust the throw positions, for more or less throttle response adjustments. The carbs look to be identical are yours Solex's or are they SK's? The SK's I have have a external adjustable float level, and use Weber Jets, not your Mikuni/Solex style jets...

Thank you for helping me out.

Work is in progress. Here is a picture showing one of the 3 carburators. They are being rebuilt by a local expert here in Norway.
Looking good - cant wait to hear the sound of them!
