tii booster with 3.0 master cylinder

To what length should the pedal to booster push rod be for the T51 booster/3.0 master cylinder be adjusted. Is this different than the factory specification for a 71 2800cs? Are there other things that should be adjusted to insure the booster works correctly?

The rod length is not the issue- distance from firewall to brake pedal face is.
9.8" from memory
Check your blue book for Dimension A
If your gas pedal is correct then you can set distance from gas pedal to brake pedal of 1.7"

Again from memory.
Never attach your brake master until you have your pedal distance set.
