a friend of mine had a dark blue GTV that he bought new in '74 and we used to drive it up to a lake in louisiana to go sailing ... on some great country roads. what a wonderful car. that was before i got my first 2002. i still love both. .
i agree about the nature of the gtv / 2002 vs the coupe. my 911 fits the same nature. when i retire, and the 911 is too expensive to maintain on a retired budget i might rethink the 911 ... maybe go to a 944 s2 or a 2002 or gtv ... my only fear is that i will miss the ungodly power / speed of the 911
