Enclosed was a lapel pin comemorating 35 years of club membership!

pretty low number for joining 35 years ago. i joined in sept 1980 ... and got 25180. must have been all of the people joining with the 320i explosion.

Joined in 1972 when I bought my 1st tii. Paid $3,286 and thought only millionaires must be able to afford coupes at $9000. I'm one of the remaining 308 out of the 1st 5000 members that Joe Chamberlain recognized at Ofest a couple of years ago.

Quick aside: just bought a nice '71 2800CS (Baikal) so my Diamondschwarz '72 3.0CSA will be for sale as soon as I get it cleaned up and shoot some pics.
