I've been fortunate enough to get my hands on a set of very nice 16" BBS 3-piece wheels. 8)

As it turns out however they are all 8" x 16" and not 7" at the front. ET for all is 20.

Will 8" wheels fit on the front?
If they fit, should I run 205/55 tires or 225/50 which is 'standard' size for 8" wheels?
Finally if I fit the larger 225/50 tires will this negatively affect wheel bearings, front suspension components, steering etc. ?

Thanks

Hi there - I have 17" Alpina 8's with offset 11 on the front rims with Dunlop 205 ZR17 50. Guards have been rolled and also had 8mm spacers made up. Car handles very well and have not had one instance of rubbing with this set up. Hope it works out for you

I have RS wheels on my car.
Front are RS211 8"x16" ET11 /Pirelli P7000 225/45/16
Rear are RS022 9"x16" ET24 /Pirelli P7000 245/45/16

But they are a real tight fit.
So I get a slight rubbing at some occasions.
