Hi!
I would like to know wich tires size do you use for a 14 inch rims..

I have a 185 70 14, but I have seen a sticker on the chasis and put 195 70 14..I think is very tall..but my size a litle thin..

What is the usually size? And whats your opinion?
Thanks!

May want of do a search, but I have place 205/60/14's on front and 215's on rear. See the discussions on "rolling" fenders. Also look at Forum entitled "coupe stance" - this should help.

195/70-14 is the correct size. 225/60-14 is the same diameter but wider. 205/70s are a little larger in diameter, but were a common "upgrade" when the cars were new.

185/70s, 205/60s and 215/60s are all smaller than the original tires.

Current Michelin XWX 205/70 VR 14 is the same size as the Michelin XWX 195/70 VR 14 of the early-mid 1990s !!! which are no longer available.
The XWX gives the car the correct period look, filling up the wheelarches properly. I use Bilsteins and CSL springs from W&N in Germany and it works very well on 3 cars.
The other main option is to go with 16" wheels and modern low profile tyres which a lot of owners like and do. I have that setup on my CSL and handling is noticeably better (which is more important on a CSL than on a regular Coupé IMHO).

Speaking of which, where is the best place to buy four 16" Alpinas for my CSi? What tire size would you recommend?

Thanks,
Jonathan
