TomHom Great to work with, Again!

The rare, chrome grills for my 1972 Bavaria arrived today from TomHom. I believe they were on the '68-'70 2800 and then discontinues. Fourteen days from Germany, DHL, door-to-door. Shipping as a gift, value under $100. 49 euros. Grills are much better than I expected. Packed to withstand any Customs Crusher they would throw at it.

Also in the box an original Wind Shield Wiper Motor cover. I believe they were added in 1973. So not original to my '72 Bavaria but I like the protection and look.

Thomas is a treasure.

You may call them chrome but they are just grey/silver. Wiper motor covers may have become available in 1975.

Chris, "grey/silver" - for me a big improvment over the black plastic originals. Let's say they are 15' chrome on a good day. Why did BMW wait until the end of the run to add the wiper covers given their exposed location?

As you might know already there are more grills available, even NOS. Just in case somebody else likes them also.
