What would be a fair price for a brand new E9 toolbox still in original package from BMW?

They are different types from 70-72 the 73-75..

For the earlier type a fair price would be $450 plus shipping plus tax.

Im sure i have one in good condition, its even got the tools in it with the spare bulbs, no spark plugs tho, sorry. Let me know if you do need one. Oh, mines from a 72 car.

Heres the tool tray, its got a chrome turn knob, dont know if thats the type your after, its 99% complete, please let me know if its what your after. Im getting married in june so no serious offer will be refused. As you can see on the last pic, it has a small scratch.

Sorry jeff,It can stay in the workshop for that kind of money im affraid. That one you pointed me to is not a patch on the one i have, and ive found the other original small red handled screw driver to mach the big one now. Thats in poor condition with bits missing off the tray, tape holding it together and half the tools gone.Would you put that on a $15000 coupe? But if that will fetch $175, then this one is worth more wouldnt you say. thank you for the interest jeff.

This probably didnt "sell" ... since at $175 it failed to meet the reserve.

I recently scored this on German eBay at Eur. 210.

probably on the high side but it is complete with both red handled screw drivers.
