The clamshell in my 74 Euro CSi is configured differently. Where are the spark plugs, the resistors, some other small tools.
Did BMW make different configurations?

Steve

You are correct. The tray I show is from a 5 & 6 series. What i am offering are all the tools to fit the E9 clamshell except for the allen wrenches and feeler gauge. If you look on real oem, you will see all of these tools are appropriate. i also believe you will see the newer E9 cars used this clamshell, or so it appears to me.

Bert,
I wish BMW had imposed some kind of consistency, My 74CSi was built in late 72 according to Mobile Trad. So it should fit the definition of "newer" car. Hans and Frans strike again. Especially after lunch break and a few strong German brews.

Yes, BMW is slightly wacky. But again, the main focus is the tools which according to the two otger fellows on this board who bought sets from me, will all go into an E9 clamshell. And, the blue cloths will for certain, fit into any kit.

I have a pm from someone in CA but not from someone in FLA. So, if they are both you, I got the message and if not you need to resend it.
