From top perspective, this lemans csl art car model reminded me a lot of a modern 8 series and the engine bay makes mine look like the engineers where out to lunch:lol:

...And judging from the headers, I'm guessing that the model guys had pasta for lunch...
Nice model; who is mfgr? And you are right, the footprint does look 8-ish..
