Article says the owner was calm after being told what happened. I can only imagine my reaction if I owned a 2002 Turbo, 507 or CSL and was told my car was totalled on a test drive.

I think they are allowed to execute the mechanic for that sort of thing in Germany!

if i was the owner i would have done a number of things to the guy. an old scca rally partner of mine had (may still have) a 300sl gullwing. it was one of the coolest cars to ride in ... as long as it wasn't hot outside.
