Just bought an inventory of transmissions and one of them is a Getrag 265 from a 1981 7 series with 30k miles....been shelved for 25 years...
$700 and I really do not want to ship but can arrange delivery by truck about anywhere for less than UPS....located VIR
Also have about any other BMW trans including 2 6 spd's for V8 engines.
