The one with the rubber at the top and the felt underneath that is the drivers side outside glass molding. Goes on the metal lip and pushes on. It has metal clips underneath that hold it on that metal lip. I know so well because I just did this and my metal lips had been replaced and were just a little to close to the glass for the molding to fit without being too tight. I had to gently go along that edge and move that lip outboard so the molding would fit properly. Lot's of off and on getting it right.

Are you saying they are E9s?

None of them look like e9 piece to me. The first one looks very similar to e9 dashboard trim, but it is not. It is undoubtedly a BMW trim piece of the era but I don’t know what.

I thought you were saying they were E9. Only one looked like a possibility. Photos could certainly be better.
Here's a photo of the one on my E9 that I thought looked similar to the end view you offered.
I'm not expert and thought there may be some variations on the moldings. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't believe any are for an E9. I thought before I throw them in the box and store them away I could find out what they were for. I have another bunch that are about the same width as the E9 only almost flat with almost no profile. They are in decent shape but most likely will never get to the person who needs them.
Thanks

Harry, E3 belt trim all have rubber that goes against the car with aluminum portion pressed in. Had I known, would have brought a piece to show you. Let me know, I have complete used set.
