Triple Webers Houston NMNA

Hilarious. I love it when ads say "not sure if it's repairable" for example:

Seems to be all there... BUT has broken off IDLE MIXTURE SCREW ON BACK RIGHT SIDE... Light superficial rust...(NOT SURE IF BROKEN OFF IDLE MIXTURE SCREW IS FIXABLE OR NOT)!!!

IMHO these are worthless for an E9, the mounting ear is broken off carb #1 (not just the mixture screw) and thus rendered junk. Not to mention the other missing parts. They look like they came from a deep sea wreck.

Ha. When I was pondering throwing an offer out to him, I was going to ask you, but they seemed a bit too far gone even in my unprofessional opinion. Had a pleasant exchange with him, though.

Maybe for a 2002 you could salvage 2 of them, but it's better to buy already reconditioned vintage carbs from a specialist. So much can go wrong rebuilding them, not to mention the expense of rejetting.

I don't see any pics - I must be doing something wrong. But I love "seeing" them through your descriptions. :)
