Trouble installing UUC DSSR

So I tried to install my UUC DSSR this weekend and this is what I'm encountered with (see pic). My shifter linkage and the trans input connector are different than what the DSSR was designed for. Any thoughts/advice?

You need a newer lower shift lever like from a 320i and a different shifter piece on the tranny, these will then match with the uuc piece

Dont you use the UUC DSSR w/the UUC shifter? Not a stock shifter?
