Trunk (Boot) "door" card recovering

I am recovering the 2 pieces of door card material that are fitted inside the trunk (boot) lid. The originals were attached with what looks to be 1/8" (3mm) staples. I have only an Arrow T50 stapler, and I don't find any staples that small to fit it. 1/4" (6mm) would penetrate the door card.

If you have done this, how did you attach the cloth-backed vinyl. (My source was Albright for the material.) Spray adhesive? Brush on adhesive? Upholstery shop with correct stapler?

Adhesive works, be sure you spray the card and the vinyl and let it “tack” up and them clamp, I use clothes pins, a lot! I know those staples are available as Juan here in Costa Mesa uses them. Maybe call Global .
