My resto shop has installed new elephant skin in the trunk. They indicated that around the wheel wells there is panelling which also needs to be replaced. They said this will be difficult to cover with the skin due to, I believe, what they described as the panels folding. Anybody experience this and have recommendations. I told them I would pose this questions to my e9coupe buds.
Thanks

Covers

The plastic skins have no vinyl (elephant skin) covers. They appeared to be available again, try Maximillian.

I just got a set from Maximillian. They are a bit different (better in my opinion) from the originals. These new ones seem softer and thinker; less likely to crack with age. Actually they seem a lot like a thick cousin to the elephant skin.

The price I posted is for the bulk material used to cover the wood panels over the gas tank and spare tire. Have not seen replacement wheel well covers. Max can supply bulk material for $31 per square meter.
