so the USA coupe uses the H4 bulb for low beam (with 3 wires to the bulb - yellow, brown + white / violet). and the H1 high beam uses the white / violet wire coming from the H4 bulb to the H1 bulb and the brown wire for ground. the USA coupe uses the parking light in the turn signal - the gray / white + gray / yellow wire powers the parking light and there is a set of blue wires (blue / red + blue / black) that powers the turn signal.
the Europe coupe uses the H1 bulb for low beam (yellow / white wires + brown ground) and has the parking light (grey / yellow + grey / white) within the fixture. the high beam also uses the H1 bulb (white / violet). turn signals use a single wire to each fixture (blue / red + blue / black).
so on the surface the wiring is very similar, where my question is, finding the difference in how the Europe car powers all 4 headlights and whether any of the switches are different ... possibly the dip switch. the wiring seems to be the same. when the dip switch is used, it sends power to the high beam relay and lights the high beams. on the USA car the high beam relay powers the 2nd filament in the H4 bulb and powers the high beam. so is it as simple as the European car doesn't do anything special, it just leaves all 4 bulbs on ... or is there something that i am not seeing?
one more question, since i don't yet have the H1 low beam with city light, does the city light just use a separate connector or does it use the connector used on the H4?
