Tuerkis E9 For Sale

Beautiful cars. When I sold my 69 Camaro RS Convertible (second owner) 24 years ago, 3 cars were on my list to replace it. A Pagoda, AH 3000, or an e9. I couldn't find a Healey I liked or a rust free e9 so I went with a Pagoda. I finished the restoration on it and it was beautiful but I hated the driving experience being an automatic and it felt very heavy. I remember one of my college buddies telling me after he saw the SL "you went from every high schooler's dream car to every retiree's dream car". I sold it after a couple of years and soon after got very lucky when I found my coupe. That was almost 22 years ago, still love my coupe - the car just suits me and I know every inch of it.

@BimRLuvR Congrts again, and I would love to learn from you, once you have completed the shipment from Australia to the US, cleared customs, etc. Did you select a container, air ship, RoRo, US Customs, etc.

@CamayroZ Thanks! I am pretty stoked for sure! So I am in the process of the shipment now. The car will ship from Brisbane to NYC, and then be delivered to my front door. I am using a company Paul recommended called DAZMAC. https://www.dazmac.com.au/ They manage the entire process including acting as my customs broker here. I chose a locked dedicated container to be placed on a ship, it is the safest option. RORO is risky. Air freight is crazy money. They pack my car, lock it in the container, and unlock it once delivered stateside. So far so good. The entire process should take about two months. My baby cant get here soon enough! Hope this helps!

Jim--I bought Hagerty Insurance for my Coupe when it was shipped to me from Maui, Hawaii. Once the seller was paid, the insurance was on the car since I had a "financial Interest", even though the title was not yet in my possession. There was a minor damage claim that was paid by Hagerty.---Drew

Thanks Drew for this. The DAZMAC team insures the vehicle at stated selling price on the bill of sale for the voyage. It ain't cheap, but well worth it. I too will insure with Hagerty for sure. -Jim
