Turn signal canceling issue

Personally, I would fit another wheel. If you really like to use this wheel, then you should cut/dremel out the plastic cone at the base and mount this oem cancelling ring 32321118825 (still available) and rotate the tab 180 degrees. On most earlier BMW wheels, this is a press fit ring, but on your wheel, you may have to apply a dab of adhesive for it to stay on.

Looks like I may have made it work by putting shims under the switch to bring it out and a couple washers under the plastic piece on the steering wheel to take it in,
