1. Well, my search for a turn signal switch ('72 3.0 csi) has been less than successful. Does anyone know of a switch that is compatible with the mounting holes and wiring if the pigtail from the dead switch is grafted on?
If that can be done, can continue my search in peace. Alternatively, has anyone opened up a bad switch and tried to repair? Would appear to be somewhat difficult due to the zinc housing and bent tab assembly (and i'll bet the innards are pretty complex, judging by the wiring on the back!), though a little epoxy for reassembly would not matter at this point
2. What is the best solution for the filter for the auxiliary air valve? Element has disintegrated (had probably never been changed). Fabricate a new element for the old can? A suitable aftermarket alternative?
I'll await advice with the Italian mistress ('84 Alfa Spider).
