two Engine questions for 2000cs 121 engine

I'm sure a few of you know the answer 1. what is the valve clearance? 2. torque spec for the head ? hopefully will have it running on Saturday.

my memory tells me that the m10 engine is .008in valve clearance. don't remember the head bolt torque, but probably the same as the m30.

do you have the 2000cs sold?

no, its not sold. i decided to work on it again, planning to sell soon though. Jim

Turns out that in the gasket package was an instructions paper giving the torque specs. i had bought this gasket set about 12 years ago.

Here is a scan of the torque spec which includes many other BMW engine types torques guidelines on one chart.

Since the file size KB is so low on this site (why can this be upgraded after these years)
