UK E12 M535i engine

I have just picked up one of these rare engines which I beleive were prepared by BMW Motorsport as the first of their production engines. I know they have higher compression and forged crank and special rods, and power s about 240 to 250 bhp even though they were quoted at 215bhp. What else is unique about these engines? do they have stronger rocker arms, special cam? any information will be of use

Those rods are the same as the 318i...

The engine was identical to those in the 635 & 735. In every way.
