I was thinking a day on the rollers would be good fun. James is keen. Anyone else in and around London keen to join in? Great way to see whether the car is going right and a bit of fun.

We could get BMW car magazine down to do a piece on it to.

Let me know the level of interest - perhaps 12th/13th June - week after The Goat?

looks like we need 10 cars and then its £35 plus VAT. Let me know who is keen, if its less than 10 cars it will be ok but may be more like £40-45. It also needs to be on a weekday at Bexley Motor Works in Kent due to noise problems. We can of course go to another rolling road if anyone has suggestions?

Hi Guys,

Yep put my name down.

My father knows these guy (Bexley Motor Works) very well and I was about to contact them myself. They generally specialise in E30 and E36 M3s but live and breath BMWs and so should know their onions.

See you on the 7th.

Well we had a fun day on the roller. Inevitably a few horses were missing in most cases except for Sam Lever who had the full complement plus a half!

We had five csls in attendance andi think the consensus was we would post the charts when we get them for fun/comparison.

My own car was on the same rollers 5 years ago and has since lost c 20 hp due to my 'improvements'!
