Hi all!
Finally able to post in this section. I have been floating around these forums from time to time and have been and done modern track days machines even had an m3 CSL which I regret selling. Anyways long story short I am now a proud owner of a Verona red CSL. Originally a uk car and exported to Australia (thank goodness) in 1980 and reimported in 2015. Those 35 years down under most likely did a lot of good in preventing more rust!
I need to do a couple of things replace suspension, all bushes, fuel lines and two floorpans need replacing. Then the plan is to wax the heck out of the base with some sort of water repellant. Any tips on these would be great. Nonetheless I ffin love this vehicle!!

Cheers Piers

Hi @Keshav thanks for the link! Hampshire isn't too far away and nice roads from mine all the way to winchester :D

I live round the corner from CCK Historic so I'll give those guys a go first. Anyone got any experience with them? I saw on their website a very nice blue csi they did running Jenvey throttle bodies. Ive still got the original block and crank but need pretty much everything else to get that going but that will have to wait till ive got the running gear all sorted meanwhile I can enjoy the 3.5 thats currently fitted.

Cheers Piers

CCK sure has some cool parts on their site, they seem to know their stuff! …… @roundel (member here) who is a Csl race cars specialist is in East Sussex too.
@daddywad (member here) who is near Heathrow is running Jenvey on his Verona red Csl too….

Had a head skimmed and valve seats reground, happy with results.

I wondered what happened to this car. I'd heard a Limey had bought it :D
Welcome to the Forum. Lots of great people and knowledge on here.
Have to admit I'm a little sad to see it back in the UK.
