So, not to resurrect a dead horse, but I'm having trouble with a certain <ahem> auction site not calling my engine a "3.5L".
Many conversations, and coachable moments, and still they have it as a "3.4L," I'm guessing due to the B34 designation.
Given that the block is clearly stamped 3.5, the engine came out of a 535i, and that (as far as I know) no one knowledgeable wouldn't call this a 3.5L (not to mention the Euro internals and 10:1 pistons), I'm inclined to not let this displacement disagreement slide.
Anyone see validity in the other POV?
