Um...B34 or B35 engine?

OK, call me an idiot, but after 10 years of ownership, I'm actually rechecking which engine I have. I have restoration documentation that says M30B34, but the engine stamping is clearly 3.5 liters. So, did they all get the 3.5 stamping, or what is this?:

They all say 3.5, they are both 3,430cc.

So, not to resurrect a dead horse, but I'm having trouble with a certain <ahem> auction site not calling my engine a "3.5L".

Many conversations, and coachable moments, and still they have it as a "3.4L," I'm guessing due to the B34 designation.

Given that the block is clearly stamped 3.5, the engine came out of a 535i, and that (as far as I know) no one knowledgeable wouldn't call this a 3.5L (not to mention the Euro internals and 10:1 pistons), I'm inclined to not let this displacement disagreement slide.

Anyone see validity in the other POV?
