Could anybody explain this plug behind brake booster. It has just single wire (green/white traces) with 12v (ignition on). What is this for?

What year is your car? There are two groupings of wiring for our cars; 72 and earlier is different from later.

You´ll find this as connector "37" in the wiring diagram

In my ´74 CSI it looks like this:

There are three connectors (all solid connections no plugs), for the the centre one there`s only a connection on one side.

Hello Thomas- can you share your 1974 djet and key schematic with me?
It is quite different from the early djet schematic and I would really like to have both on file.
I would really appreciate it.

Dear Don,
I sent you a copy!
The difference is due to the fact that the early versions use a dedicated resistor "22" to lower the voltage at the ignition coil once the drive started.
One base of the resistor is used as a terminal to connect two wires.
Whereas the later versions use the resistor cable. To connect the three wires a separate terminal was installed.
Regards
Thomas
