The CowpokeRacing garage has been a bit pressed for space lately. With two cars, 5 motorcycles, and various tool benches, tool boxes, air compressor, welders and my newly acquired plasma cutter there is barely room to move. I'm going to get back engaged on finishing my other projects, I need more space, and the only truly moveable thing in the garage is Ali, my beloved CSL. The weather here in this part of Northern California is wet and drippy much of the winter, and when spring comes sap tends to fall from the trees, obviously not a great environment for an old BMW. And so yesterday morning Chel and I scurried up 880 to Hayward, dodging raindrops on the way to her new temporary shelter. She's now safely stored in one of Virtuoso Performance's three massive warehouses. While it is sad not to have her in the garage, the space will be very useful, and of course I can go get her out from time to time for drives and local events.

Dude,

Sell some of that other stuff so you can keep the CSL safe and sound at home. :)

Well I dare say that she's in some distinguished company. Among the mechanical mana in her midst were a Ferrari 275 GTB/4, a 365GTC, numerous vintage F1 cars, and a lot of modern German stuff with the engine at the wrong end. The other "stuff" in my garage happens to include a aluminum doored CSL, my precious Ducati 916, and the tools necessary to complete the restoration of our other beloved possessions, a 1967 Alfa Romeo GTV. Sadly, the only solution for me is to build another workshop.

Your storage solution

TJ - I'm more than willing to fly down every fall, drive Ali back to Canmore and store her along with her room mate for the winter. She will be safe and warm along with 2240524, my 76 2002, a WSC track car and a newly acquired 1984 Tucker snowcat.

Hope you and Chel are well and about to restore the Alpha.

Snip.... Sadly, the only solution for me is to build another workshop.

A true petrolhead can never have enough sheds!!
Fortunately the pile of spare parts, junk, and other stuff you just know you will need tomorrow will automatically expand to fill the newly available space

Unfortunately Mrs Malc doesn't see the logic in my arguments that I need more shed space. I wonder why? :?

Hell I've already got motorcycles in the house! Mrs. TJ is accomodating indeed, but there's a limit to how many vehicles should actually be stored inside a house.

Yes true, I have found it's difficult to get cars up the stairs and the bedroom doors need modifying...

Good luck with the new shed venture, you know you just have to do it!

So the REAL solution to your problem is to GIVE me your Alfa, then you will have room and freedom from those demons calling you to restore her...

I promise, I'll let you caress her when she's done..

Trade you five Datsuns for the Alfa......used to have a Guilietta Spider way back when and never quite forgot her....oh, but it really won't help you much storage wise...and Scott, I found the Euro 3.5 was a #011 ECU, now en route...Thanks for your help....
