Hi

Has anyone purchased the marine blue weave centre panel fabric from W&N. Art No.A51921817333.

The front seats on my E9 both have damaged seat base panels and if the fabric is a good colour match with the existing material I may be able to get away with just repairing these rather than having to have all 4 seats reupholstered.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I did. The number you referenced along with 51921817042. My original fabric was pretty faded so it's hard to tell how well they match. I'd prefer the new fabric wasn't so bright but I'm happy with the texture.

I've bought some and while I don't have it to hand (it is with my trimmer!) I'm pretty sure we compared it to the existing seats and it looked good - on my seats the problem was actually the tops of the back seats where these had been sun damaged so the plan was to replace the centres of the backs but leave the bases, which came up really well after cleaning.

Look and see if BMW has re-released it. I was about to pull the plug and they re-released the black corduroy used in my Euro..and it was reasonably priced.

I would consider to change center section of both seats.

It is hard to compare on pictures and also each car has different exposure on UV during his years of service.

In case of international shipping I might have no sense to save few bugs on one or two meters or material.

Sometimes it can be considered for remaining material to use it on the headrests to refresh them.

I've heard as much. You must be very happy. So your E3 is probably a Series 2 car or a 2500 Series 3. These used the same material as the Coupés. I suspect this is the reason BMW offers them again, at least in Marine Blue and in Black. The fabrics for the Series 1 or the 3 litre Series 3, let alone the 3.3, are probably gone forever.
