Upholstery in Europe?

So, what do you want to do?
- just get leather seat covers and install them by yourself
- do your seats need to get upholstered
- what about the other parts like door panels, armrests etc.
- which colour is installed at present
????

Hi Tom,
I could install leather covers by myself, if there is a good installation guide.
My seat springs are in good condition, but I would prefer to remove the horse hair and choose a good quality seat foam.
My door panels and all the rest is in rather good condition, so I would leave it as it is, for the time being.
My original covers are blue velours. Not torn, but worn off here and there. It is somehow charming, but they need to be renovated by now…
I like the tan / brown leather. Don’t know how it will look with the blue doors.

Hi Beaudave,
there is a gap between installing tan/brown/cognac interior and just doing an upholstery of your marine velour seats, a gap of something like 6k€ up.
Finding decent original matching side panels, ash trays etc., nearly impossible nowadays.
I recommend to stay with the marine velour, find a good saddler. Fabric is still available in marine, I would not remove the horse hair, take the foam from BMW E??, forgot.
Regards
Thomas
