Upper door seal

I have bought new rubber seals for the door (at the top of the door). The seal slides into the upper chrome trim, from the A-post to the B-post (if the car had one).

I find it extremly difficult to slide the seal into the chrome trim. Thus, I need suggestion how to do the job.

Soapy water will help along with a blunt pallet knife to push one side in and then the other
Do not use washing up liquid, it contains a lot of salt
