Does anyone know if urethane bushings for front and rear sway bars are available and where?
Also my '70 2800CS has a sunroof and I am getting close to having a pro do the headliner.
My question is, is there supposed to be a "board" or rods for the headliner to be attached to?
The only part of the headliner I have is the front panel where the sun visors mount to.
Thanks!

Check JCWhitney. They used to stock great poly bushings at a fair price. The metal holding bracket just needs a little work on a grinder to make it fit. I put mine on about 20 years ago and they're still fine.

There is a panel in sunroof-equipped coupes that holds the headliner in place in the area between the sunroof and the rear window. It should be possible to make one out of thin fiberboard of some sort...it is mainly flat but flexible enough to fit the contour of the roof, obviously.

Thanks Jeff and Bill.
Bill is the rest of the headliner just glued to the metal framework around the sunroof and to the roof edges, windshield frame and back window frame?

Bill,
Interesting on the liner. Mine has a manual sunroof, with a continuous liner from front to rear. For supporting the rear of the liner, there's a rod that goes from side to side, passing through a full-width loop sewn in the liner.

Urethane bushings

Jeff ireland has the bushings. Keshav

For our cars, I prefer to use the stock rubber sway bar bushings (new of course)
IMO urethane for sway bar bushings is too stiff ... but GREAT for end link bushings
