OK this is not e9 specific, but hey all of our cars are used, some very much so. This was sent to a friend of mine and we do not know where it appeared. It is in English, but seems a bit risque for the US. Also in the US we do not have "used" BMWs; BMWs are preowned.

Anyway I thought this was a great ad.

In the faint web address it looks like "gb." Could that be Great Briton. Given the disgraced Ruppert Murdoch's topless page three girls in the now defunct New of the World this ad is pretty tame.

She looks young enough to be jailbait.

Ad - Greece

Greece - interesting (my wife is Athenian). Well Kudos to them for their creativity. Thx.

Refining the message, one doesn't care about being the first but we don't want high mileage either.

Oh, and the best is having three like me to be able to contrast and compare.

Mileage

OK, Arde, how many of us really know the mileage on our coupes? Probably only 25% or so I would guess. I know what the PO told me - 132,000. I know what I wanted to believe, but could it be 232,000, or even more? Sure.

I agree that polygamy (I think the definition is only multiple partners so e9s may qualify) with e9s is acceptable.

Prior loving owners is OK but nobody wants their E9 Rode Hard and put way Wet!

I guess having multiple prior long term loving owners is OK.

But knowing that your E9 has had lots of very short term owners (quickies) and was often rode hard then just dumped outside dripping wet and leaking fluids is a problem ... Right?

....

Telltale signs are that the interior wear does not match the claimed mileage.
And of course when ride is not as tight anymore.

I am enjoying watching this thread devolve! Personally, I'd love to bring an Inka CSL into the mix but I don't know if my lady would go for it.

It appears the original version of this ad, which I believe came from South Africa, has been edited by adding the second line of text.
