Every year I trash a tire ( a run flat no less) on the wonderful Mass Pike, the one with the high tolls that go to nothing related to maintenance. The valve stem on my 335 was fused and could not be removed so I went with a new TPMS sensor. Does anyone know if I can just replace the valve stem component on a BMW TPMS sensor? I found a 43mm Huf BMW stem for 8 bucks but not sure if applicable.

I don't know the answer to your question, but the year I stopped driving my BMW sedan into work in Washington, DC, I spend $2,000 on a combination of tire replacement, rim repair and suspension parts. Even though we pay taxes for road maintenance, politicians have found that spending money on other things is more likely to get them re-elected than is spending money on maitenance.

PA roads here, and I have trashed a bunch of run flats on my 650i. Very frustrating. Last year I had to replace one as the schrader valve inside the stem had fused as yours apparently did.

I really dislike not having a spare tire, and dislike the ride quality of run-flats...

I had my 2k spindle repair last year. I actually decided to turn down the Alpina's Scott is selling for a friend here because of our roads.

I replace them immediately and just keep a patch kit and small plug in pump in the car... Though that sidewall tear would be hard to fix
