Valve Stem seal height?

Hello, On Vin # 3103568, How far down should the valve stem seals be pressed on? Is there any fitted height spec any where? Or should they go down until touching the bottom valve spring shim?

Are you using old style or new style guides? Both have shoulders to limit how far the valve stem seal goes on

Old style guides and seals. The head had a valve job and new seals installed about a year ago with mixed results on the valves seal springs. Found two tiny circular springs from the seals floating around in areas of valve spring cups. Suspect that the seals were installed too deep and springs popped off the top of the seals. Hence my question about seal height install?

That is from a poor installation, probably used a deep socket to put the, on Just pop them and install some new ones using the right diameter tube get a couple of extra in case you bugger up the new ones it happens
