I was wondering if I could ask the community for some recommended vendors for a front CSL airdam (not the euro 635). I'm in the market and need some guidance.

I'm not trying to reignite any fires but I've read posts about fitment issues and post sales support with coupeguy.

I've heard Mario @ VSR makes a great product but after numerous attempts I can't seem to get in touch with him or anyone at his shop.

I've been trying to purchase something for a few weeks now and would really appreciate some advice.

Thanks!

The VSR CSL air dam fits very well. Bought one in 2012. it needed some finessing if you are going to fit the bumper back on and it looks great.

Took 3 weeks to make, they are made to order.

VSR1 cal parts

I compared the VSR1 part to an original CSL air damn and Mario's part was noticeably better made. There are lots if folks with these on their E9's with zero issues that I've heard.
I think the price is very fair as well.

Note: it hangs down pretty low and forward. At the bottom of a slope to my winter storage barn the CSL spoiler scalps the grass. No harm to the spoiler as far a I can see (strong part, well installed), but I could see someone having problems if they aren't careful with it in a city environment. Sport shocks, springs, bars probably help significantly with things like driveway entrances. Parking lot blocks will surely interfere so BC letting friends and SO's take your E9 to the mall or grocery store.

Another thumbs up for VSR! My coupe is the one that Mario has pictured with the airdam - I'm very happy with it.

Thanks for the input. I got in touch with Mario today - he explained that he had been really busy lately.

He spent some time going over the installation process and answered all my questions. Very nice guy and very helpful.

I'm excited to get this finally going, I'll keep you guys posted.
