Finally getting around to getting my door wood trim replaced. Any tips on removing the round knob for the vent window? Don't want to break it or deform it. Thanks

I'm going off memory from removing my door card to do a regulator last year, but I remember there being a hole on the back side of the knob that you can get a curved pick through to push the inside cover off the knob. From there, there was a bolt holding the knob on at the center.

I've taken a lot of door cards off, so if I'm remembering the wrong car, I'm sure more people will chime in soon

yep - there is a hole on the back side. i use an allen wrench that i push thru the hole and push the disk out of the knob. then you unscrew the knob from the mechanism. takes a few minutes.

Yes use the valve adjusting tool or a small hex key with a right angle to push the plastic piece off from behind thorough the hole, just have to fish around to find it. After that it's a phillips screw.
