vent window knob

is this vent window knob for MY '74? seems like this was the type on the '74 to '76 2002. its been too many years since i've had a 2002 or having looked at a '74 coupe closely

this is the type that is on my coupe ... which fits with the hand brake

Definitely 2002, don't know if 74 coupe used this, doubt it. That looks like all years of 2002.

Yup, first one is from 2002.
I saw couple photo's with that one mounted in e9 on internet, but it didn't look good.

I have a pair lying around that are like neither of these ! completely smooth if I'm not mistaken, no ridges to grip.

The bottom version is on my 1970 2800cs

and the center insert is a different size
as i could not interchange them
