Victory by Design

Hi Fellows,
I've seen a show on the Speed Channel (USA) called Victory by Design. It features old cars and the host (Alain de Cadenet) goes into great descriptions of the cars and their history. The are the actual race cars, not just the same model. Then he drives them.....fast. The audio is worth watching alone. Just the other day I found them on Youtube.com. They sound fabulous through some decent computer speakers. Highly Recommended. Needless to say, I own none of the featured vehicles!- :cry: - Paul

de Cadenet generally love the race Ferrari, alpha, jag and what ever...have you ever seen a bmw on the show? I have not.

No, no blue and white. Lots of 60s and 70s cars though with big weber carbs and the audio recording in the vehicles with tremendous mechanical noise. I can almost forgive the lack of bmws. Almost -Paul

de Cadenet's the best at what he does. He conveys lot's of passion and fun. However, the series is incomplete without BMW. I'd pay to see Hans Stuck go through the lineup of classics... That would be the ultimate.
